RAM obtained a certificate of public convenience and necessity to provide integrated mobile radio-telephone and paging service throughout the metropolitan Denver area. Answerphone, Inc., Mobile Radio-Telephone Service, Inc., and Colorado Mobile Telephone Company filed protests to RAMs application which resulted in the examiner denying RAMs request for authority. RAM excepted to the denial of authority, and the commission upheld RAMs exceptions and issued the certificate. The district court considered oral arguments and briefs and affirmed the commission.
